Job Seeker Terms
Last updated:
Welcome to Fika Jobs. Fika Jobs is operated by Coffee Chat AI AB, org. no. 559545-9164, Hovås Bautastensväg 9, 436 50 Hovås, Sweden ("Fika Jobs" or "Fika", "we", "us"). These Candidate Terms (the "Terms") apply to you as an individual using Fika Jobs to explore, apply for, or be matched with job and other professional opportunities.
By creating a Fika account or profile, or otherwise using Fika as a candidate, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.
In short. You create one Fika profile — including through an AI-powered conversation — and can reuse it across applications and opportunities. Fika's service is to match you with relevant opportunities, email you about them, and recommend and introduce you to hiring companies. You can decline opportunities, unsubscribe from opportunity emails, and delete your account at any time. Fika's candidate service is currently free, and employers — not Fika — make all hiring decisions. If this summary conflicts with the full Terms, the full Terms govern.
1. Who can use Fika
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information about yourself. Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
2. The Fika service
2.1 Fika's service to you consists of:
(a) creating and hosting your Fika profile — which may include information you provide, your CV, information imported with your involvement (for example from an application you made), and video, audio, transcripts, summaries and other profile information created through your Fika conversation or interview;
(b) matching you with relevant job and professional opportunities, emailing and otherwise notifying you about opportunities that may fit you, and introducing and recommending you to hiring organizations — this is the core of what Fika does for you, not an optional extra; and
(c) letting you reuse your profile across applications and opportunities instead of starting over each time.
2.2 You may arrive at Fika in different ways — for example on your own, or because a company you applied to invited you to complete a Fika conversation as part of its recruitment process. These Terms apply from the moment you create your Fika account, however you arrived.
2.3 Fika's candidate service is currently free, and you do not owe Fika any fee because you are hired.
3. Your profile and how it is shared
3.1 We share your profile with hiring organizations as part of the service: when you apply to an organization, attach your profile to an application, express interest in an opportunity or ask us to introduce you — and when we recommend or introduce you to a hiring organization as part of the matching and introduction service described in Section 2.1(b). You can decline opportunities, unsubscribe from opportunity emails, and delete your account at any time.
3.2 When we share your profile, we normally give the hiring organization access to your profile as hosted by us, rather than sending it a separate copy. It can see the information in your profile — which can include your video, transcripts, summaries and evaluation information — and it processes what it sees under its own responsibility as required by law.
3.3 What happens when you delete. When you delete your account, the access we have given hiring organizations to your profile ends. What can remain with an organization is information it has recorded in its own systems — for example notes its recruiters have written about you, or, if you completed a Fika conversation as part of that company's own recruitment process, the materials delivered into its recruitment systems as part of that process. That information is under the organization's own responsibility; contact the organization directly about what it holds.
4. AI features
4.1 Fika uses artificial intelligence throughout the service. Your Fika conversation or interview is conducted by an AI system, and we may record it and create transcripts, summaries, evaluations and structured profile information from it, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4.2 Our matching and evaluations are based on your conversation and the information in your profile, and assess how you may fit job and professional opportunities.
4.3 AI-generated content can be incomplete or inaccurate. Evaluations, matches and recommendations are decision support for you and for hiring organizations — they are not statements of fact, and they are not hiring decisions. Fika does not make hiring decisions: whether to interview, progress, hire or reject you is decided by the relevant hiring organization, and our agreements require hiring organizations to apply human review and not to make decisions about you based solely on automated output. If you believe information about you is inaccurate, you can update your profile or contact us; your data-protection rights are described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Using Fika responsibly
Fika is built on trust between candidates and hiring organizations. When using Fika you must:
(a) provide truthful information and not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, experience or right to work; (b) not impersonate anyone or create profiles for other people; (c) use Fika only for your own genuine job seeking — not to advertise services, scrape data, probe or disrupt the platform, or access information not intended for you; and (d) treat information you receive about hiring organizations as confidential where it is not public.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account and remove your profile. These Terms do not impose any fees or indemnity obligations on you.
6. Your content and our rights
6.1 You own the content you provide. You grant Fika the right to host, process, reproduce, adapt, display and share your content as needed to operate and provide the service described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy. This right ends when you delete your account, except for information hiring organizations have already recorded in their own systems as described in Section 3.3, and copies we retain to comply with law, honor your opt-outs, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6.2 Fika and its licensors own the Fika platform and all related intellectual property. You may not copy, reverse engineer or build competing services using it.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process, why, how long we keep it, and your rights — including the situations where we process your data on behalf of a company you applied to.
8. No guarantees
We cannot promise you interviews, offers or employment, that any particular hiring organization will respond, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Fika is not your employer and is not responsible for the conduct or decisions of hiring organizations.
9. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Subject to that, Fika is not liable for indirect losses, or for the conduct, decisions or outcomes of hiring organizations and recruitment processes, which are outside Fika's control.
10. Ending your use, and changes
10.1 You can stop using Fika and delete your account at any time, free of charge, in the product or by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts as described in Section 5, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
10.2 We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you by email or in the product reasonably in advance of the change taking effect, and you can close your account before it does. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes may be brought before the Swedish courts. If you are a consumer, you always retain the protections and forum rights granted by mandatory law in your country of residence.
